We are introducing a new real-time RT-PCR to test the presence or absence of tomato leaf curl New Delhi virus (ToLCNDV) on seed of Tomato (Solanum lycopersicum), Pepper (Capsicum annuum) and Cucurbits (Cucurbitaceae). For this test is chosen to use the fast, reliable and sensitive seed-extract PCR method as test method. |

In March, the TAIEX INTPA expert mission on Plant Variety Protection (PVP) and the UPOV system took place in Guatemala. Together with partners from the Netherlands and the EU, Naktuinbouw contributed expertise in discussions with government, research and the private sector on the importance of strong varieties, healthy production systems and a modern Plant Breeders’ Rights framework. |
