Approval ToBRFV as an additional characteristic in DUS testing in tomato |
The CPVO recently approved the application for the additional characteristic 'Resistance to ToBRFV' for use in the DUS testing in tomato. This is a nice step in the introduction of resistance to the dreaded tomato disease ToBRFV in the market.

New molecular confirmation tests detection Fusarium in tomato and spinach seeds |
From May 1, we can test the presence or absence of Fusarium oxysporum f.sp. lycopersici in seeds of tomato and Fusarium oxysporum f.sp. spinaciae in spinach seeds.

On May 23, Naktuinbouw signed an agreement with the Chinese Institute of Vegetables and Flowers (IVF), Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences (CAAS).

From the second half of 2024, Naktuinbouw will gradually replace the ELISA tests on plant material for PCR. This is usually done by family.

Do you ever have to deal with 'other seeds' among your seed lots? Would you like to learn a system to quickly identify these seeds? In June we will organize the English-language Seed Identification training course.

5 September: Training Course Seed Sampling |
The Seed Sampling course is now also available in English and will be organized on September 5.
Especially for (new) English-speaking employees who are involved in or take seed samples themselves.
